Krav maga training emphasizes realistic, physical and psychological demanding exercises. The underlying goal is to build the mental and physical capabilities necessary for identifying and remedying a wide variety of attacks. The training intensity level escalates incrementally with the intent of gradually increasing students’ combative abilities, self-confidence and to boost their self-efficacy.
Krav maga, being a modular, adaptable and user friendly martial art and self-defense system, can be modified to fit various contexts. Krav maga offers the trainee a variety of training methods and operation avenues to accommodate their individual tasks, goals and constraints.

Grand master Imi, in developing krav maga, created not only a system of self defense for soldiers in the Israeli army, but a martial art that is open to all who seek a way to allow themselves and their loved ones to “walk in peace”.
